During her residency, Kate will experiment with various papers as a substrate for cyanotypes, a process that is an amalgam of photo-based (light sensitive) materials and printmaking. She will be recording text, images, and objects onto paper as a documentation of transformation. A cumulative show that will grow during her residency, new pieces will be hung each week until the end of the exhibit – a dynamic extrapolation of process and product, most of which will be produced in the WNYBAC studio.
