SESSION 2:
Steamroller Collaborative Carving Workshop with Joanne Price
Wednesday, July 6th / 6-9pm
Join visiting artist Joanne Price of Starpointe Studio in a one night workshop on lino carving! Each participant will carve a 6" x 8" block to be collaboratively printed into a large piece the day of BookFest-with the Steamroller! Each participant will print an individual proof of their block the evening of the workshop.
Workshop participants are required to bring a sketch/idea to the workshop, approximately size 6" x 8". There is no theme, and each participant will receive their own block. Carvings will be on unmounted linoleum, and kept to print for the BookFest on Saturday, July 9th 11am-5pm. Blocks can be picked up the night of, or anytime the week after, Wednesday-Saturday, 12-6pm
Can't make the Wednesday, July 6th workshop? Join us for the same workshop, session 1, on Tuesday, July 5th, 6-9pm! Please note, each is a separate workshop, you are not required to attend both.
Cost: $40 ($30 member) (includes individual print/proof of block)
Cost for the workshop PLUS collaborative Steamroller Print at BookFest July 9th: $65 ($55 member).

Be sure to join us Thursday, July 7th / 5:30-8pm - Happy Hour with Artist Joanne Price
Meet & Greet with the artist. Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Joanne will be showcasing her work for sale and guests will be able to gain insight into her process. Meet other artists who have also been a part of our Collaborative Carving Project, as well as those who have created large block for the BookFest Steamroller Printing!
