Book your Professional Development Workshop today!

WNYBAC provides professional development enrichment opportunities for teachers, designers, and other interested parties. An artist-focused workshop at the Western New York Book Arts Center provides a unique opportunity for both the seasoned and novice print-maker, teachers of all disciplines & levels, and anyone interested in getting their hands a little inky or trying something new!

If a Printmaking Professional Development Workshop is chosen, attendees receive a brief overview of the history and techniques of letterpress printing, an introduction to our equipment, and the opportunity to create a stack of unique collage-like prints. In order to generate their set of prints, participants will choose from our large selection of beautiful wood block cuts & inks, and work on our vintage presses. The workshop stresses both individual and collective creativity while focusing on teamwork, working across disciplines to connect old-school technology, history and art.
