Bookbinding: Hardcover Journal

Learn the basics of hardcover bookbinding! Participants will utilize specialty book making tools like bone folders and awls, decorative papers, book cloth and adhesives to assemble and stitch a unique handbound journal. Open to all skill levels, beginners welcome.  Fill out my LGL form!

Visual Mindfulness: Intuitive Meditation for the Senses

Papermaking: Dip-Mould

November 7 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Learn the basics of how to use a dip mould for papermaking! Workshop participants will create a stack of their own handmade paper sheet. Inclusions– small decorative pieces imbedded in the paper pulp–will be provided by the instructor, and participants are welcome to bring inclusions of their own (examples: flower petals, leaves, confetti, anything thin and lightweight). Handmade Paper Roses

Learn to create Ruby Rose and Rose Buds using Lia Griffith branded German extra-fine and doublette crepe paper. Techniques for cutting, stretching and forming flowers will be covered. Students will complete 2 large roses and 1-2 small rose buds on wires for an arrangement. Fill out my LGL form!

Handmade Bullet Journals

What is a bullet journal? It is a system of planning and tracking in a specialjournal to keep yourself focused on your goals! Participants will learn topamphlet bind their own journal and to learn the basics of setting up a BulletJournal. Handmade Paper Pointsettia Plant

Create your very own Lia Griffith Crepe Paper Pontsettia Plant in a pot to decorate your home! Learn to make the pontsettia flowers and leaves and basics of arranging flowers in a pot.  Students will leave with a finished plant in a lovely pot for display.Fill out my LGL form!
