Block Printing Fabric Workshop

March 9 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

$55 – $60
four, citrus printed, overlapping white cloths

Hands-on classes in the Book Arts Studio!

Learn to block print fabric by designing and carving your own linoleum stamp. Workshoppers will have assistance with brainstorming ideas, and get hands on demonstrations and assistance with the carving process. Attendees will be provided one cotton tea towel or tote to test out their stamp, but may also bring their own fabric items (up to 2 per person) to print if desired. All ages and experience levels are welcome, though we will work with a sharp tool, so adult supervision is required for children under the age of 12.

Things to Note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages twelve+.
• All necessary tools and materials needed to participate are provided.
•  It’s helpful to bring your own simple image (printed or digital) or idea of what you’d like to carve.
• Please read our ‘Plan Your Visit’ page to review our health & safety procedures.

Any questions about the class please email [email protected]
