Coptic Stitch Bookbinding Duo

November 8 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

$85 – $95

Hands-on classes in the Book Arts studio!

In this class you will create a dynamic duo of coptic bound journals. One to keep and one to give away – if you can bear to part with either. Coptic binding originated in 2nd century Egypt, and are perfect for drawing, journaling, and collage work because they can lay completely flat. Participants will make two books approximately 4.25 x 5.5 inches with decorative paper covers.

While coptic stitch is a more advanced method of binding than say a simpler Pamphlet Stitch, this class is also geared towards beginners and makers of all skill levels. Join us!

This is a two date workshop, participants must attend both dates of this class: Wednesdays, November 8th & 15th from 6-8:30pm.

Things to note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages teen+.
• All necessary tools to participate are provided.
• Please read our ‘Plan Your Visit’ page to review our health & safety procedures.

Any questions about the class please email [email protected]
