Creatively Curious: Handprinted Accordion Books

May 13, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Book Arts’ Creatively Curious workshops are offered alongside gallery exhibitions at Book Arts and engage participants with the themes, materials, and art making processes on view in the exhibitions.

FREE & DROP IN!

Book Arts invites you to create your own book alongside Shana Agid’s exhibition Things I Might Need and SuDi Wang’s Monsterity 物之怪.

In this drop-in workshop, participants will engage in similar art making processes as the exhibiting artists, and will learn step by step how to create a folded book. After the structure is complete, we will work to hand-print the book with carved blocks from the Book Arts collection.

Free. Drop-in anytime between 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
