Intro to Unit Origami: Ornaments

December 2, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

$50 – $55
While traditional origami models are made with many intricate folds using only a single sheet of paper, unit origami models are assembled, like a 3D puzzle, from multiple simple-to-fold units. Students in this workshop will learn the basics of unit origami and how to fold and assemble a stellated octahedron, from 12 Sonobe units. Time permitting, adventurous students can start assembly of a stellated icosahedron from 30 Sonobe units. The completed piece can work perfectly as an ornament for your holiday display or gift giving!

Things to note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages teen+. No pre-requisites required.
• All necessary tools to participate are provided.
