Plastic & Paper Mosaic Animal Portraits

Hands-on classes in the Book Arts studio!

Bring your favorite animal picture to the workshop!
We will create a very tangible/colorful painting out of ordinary objects surrounding us: upcycled plastic food containers and papers.

Customize your project! Please bring a B&W or color Animal picture (your pet?!) printed on 8.5″x11″ paper. OR email your picture to [email protected] before the workshop and we can print it for you 🙂

This special one-time only workshop is led by visiting artist Harumo Sato.

Things to note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages teen+.
• All necessary tools to participate are provided, and Book Arts will have a multitude of collage materials on hand, but participants are welcome to bring any of the following: (1) Old book/old children books in broken or worn condition to take apart (2) one time use plastic food containers or any plastic wastes that households create. Please make sure they are all washed and oil free!
