Register your creatively curious little one for PRINTING PARTNERS, a program where students engage in hands-on learning about the book arts. Together we’ll explore: origami, soft & hardcover bookmaking, various forms of making prints, and more!

The program runs for 8 weeks, with one class led each week. Book Arts teaching artist Ruby Merritt will lead students step by step to create folded origami books, stitched journals, hand carved stamps and more. In 1959, it was a small, neighborhood child’s desire to learn how to paint that sparked the concept for turning a former convent into a place for arts instruction. Ever since, Locust Street Art (formally known as MollyOlga) has been providing free or low-cost art classes to the communities of Buffalo, New York.
