WNYBAC is always seeking dedicated, hardworking, and passionate interns and volunteers. Due to the nature of our center, tasks and errands assigned to interns and volunteers vary greatly. From assisting in the print shop to helping develop programming and public relations, WNYBAC seeks volunteers and interns who are excited and driven to learn, work, and contribute to our growing non-profit organization.

Interns and volunteers are charged with different assignments, from helping with events to printing, and from merchandising to basic cleaning, organizing, and maintenance. All of these tasks are directed toward teaching the participant and giving them a vested interest in the space. Interns can gain course credit for their involvement; students must have a sponsoring department or advisor. Volunteers may exchange their hours for Open Studio time (4 volunteer hours equal 1 hour of studio time) or a 50% discount on a workshop (the volunteer must amass 20 hours of time in order to gain this credit).
