Members’ Show 2021

ON VIEW JUNE 4 – JUNE 26

We are continuously excited, intrigued & delighted by the artwork our community of members submits each year. We encourage all members to submit, and all forms of artwork & skill–from curious hobbyist (children, too!) to professional–are welcome.  

Artwork will be on view in our main gallery, and new this year, childrens’ artwork will be displayed in our studio gallery, located in our lower level letterpress studio. 

Membership at Book Arts supports ongoing educational programming in our studios & out in our community. If you’re not yet a member, consider joining our vibrant collective of artists & makers, and submit your artwork in the show!

Through the duration of the exhibition, Book Arts seeks to highlight our memberships’ talent through classes led by members. Interested in sharing your craft by leading a class or demo? Fill out the form below.

Submit your Class/Demo IDea

  • (if applicable)
  • Please include aspects like suggested duration of class (example: 1.5 hours), materials/space needed, any pre-requisites for attendees, suggested class fees, etc. Please note, we will reach out to you with more specific guidelines and information to actually book your class. Thank you!
  • If applicable. Example: photo from a class you led, sample project, etc. (max file size: 256MB)

Artwork submission requirements:

Current, renewing & new (hey, welcome!) members may submit up to two (2) artworks for inclusion in this year’s Members’ Show. For those with a Family Membership, we are accepting children’s artwork for viewing in our Studio Gallery.

All forms of artwork are welcome. Artwork must be ready to hang, unframed works will be hung with magnets.

Artwork Drop Off Dates:
• Saturday, May 22nd 10am-2pm
• Wednesday, May 26th 10am-5pm
• Thursday, May 27th 10am-5pm
• Friday, May 28th, 10am-6pm

Contact [email protected] to arrange for alternate drop-off times. (Book Arts will be closed Saturday, May 29th for the Memorial Day Weekend)

  • Voluntary. Please list any applicable website or social media handle (instagram, facebook) for members & visitors to learn more about your artwork.
  • Artwork # 1 Information

    Members may submit up to two pieces.
  • Please input exact or rough dimensions. If artwork is larger than 4', please contact [email protected] after submission to ensure adequate installation.
  • Please remember all sold artworks subject to 70% artist/30% Book Arts commission split.
  • Framed pieces must be ready to hang. Unframed artworks will be hung via magnets. If your piece should be displayed on a pedestal or requires any special hanging/handling instructions, please say so here. Thank you!
  • Artwork # 2 Information

    Members may submit up to two pieces. Only fill out this section if applicable to your submission.
  • Please input exact or rough dimensions. If artwork is larger than 4', please contact [email protected] after submission to ensure adequate installation.
