The WNY Book Arts Center’s educational outreach program, Printing partners, is hosted by community partners throughout the city of Buffalo & offers and free, multi-week art classes to children & families in their own neighborhoods!
Printing Partners removes the barrier of cost & transporation, affording all families the opportunity to participate in high-quality hands-on learning oportunities in the arts. In these sequencial hands-on arts workshops, learners of all ages and abilities build upon their artistic skills, using specialty artist tools & materials to learn basic to advanced forms of bookmaking, papermaking, letterpress, screen printing & more!
We’re back at it this Fall & Winter 2020 with a fantastic array of FREE Book Arts classes for children & families. We’re offering TWO online programs and ONE in-person program! For our online classes, one in is partnership with Locust Street Art, a neighborhood art center and a pillar of the Fruit Belt neighborhood on Buffalo’s East Side. We’re also partnering with the Buffalo Public Libraries to offer our Printing Partners online classes in conjunction with FOUR of their neighborhood libraries located all around the city! We’re very humbled and excited to continue to inspire creativity and make art with children throughout our area.
