A facet of Book Arts’ educational outreach, Printing Partners is hosted by our community partners & offers free multi-week art classes to families in their own neighborhoods!

Kids & families of all ages are welcome to join these FREE Book Arts Classes, taught by Book Arts at Locust Street Art, an inviting community space located in Buffalo’s Fruit Belt, hosting classes for all ages, and open to all!

We’ll create a new project each week, from origami and hand-bound books to screen print and letterpress prints. Families are invited to come in for one class, though attending multiple classes is encouraged. Classes are geared towards children, though all ages, including parents, are invited to join in. No pre-registration required for the classes.

The WNY Book Arts Center’s Printing Partners is a collaborative program connecting the Center to students of all ages in the Buffalo community through educational outreach.
Printing Partners seeks to strengthen the region as a center for arts and culture by offering long-term arts instruction for children right in their very own neighborhoods.

Printing Partners is generously funded in past & present by the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, the City of Buffalo, the County of Erie, M&T Bank, and the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with the support of Governor Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.
