About the Artist – Debra Eck

I’m a teaching artist who works with paper, thread and text. I l often end up making books! I love learning new processes and traditional techniques, I’m as much a learner as a teacher. If I’m not in my studio I’m probably in the woods or garden experimenting with materials I find there, or in a thrift store or at a landfill looking for things to recycle in my work.
