screenAdvanced Screen Print Wednesdays, April 17 & 24 | 6-9pm
In this workshop, students will build on the basics of screen printing and explore more advanced techniques. This course is designed for people who have taken WNYBAC's Screen Print Basics class. We will review how to prepare screens, create designs, and register multi-colored prints using multiple types of registration methods. Participants can create two color cards, posters, t-shirts, etc. Ages 16+ Participants must take Screen Print Basics to sign up for this advanced class  
Some helpful tips:

This workshop is structured into two evening classes: In the first class we review the screenprint process step-by step and set up a two-color job, utilizing multiple registration techniques. Participants are then tasked with bringing a suitable image/idea the following class, where we'll work together to get the image print-ready, set up our print jobs and print each unique design! - Participants can expect to screen print about 10 pieces (posters, shirts, etc) -T-shirts, tote bags and other fabric products must be provided by the participant. All other materials, including paper to print on, are provided.  - Prints will be two-layers, which typically means two colors, but a split fountain or rainbow roll (incorporating more colors at once) can also be done! - You must take the Screen Print Basics Workshop to be eligible for this class, or have had adequate screen-print experience. - Questions?
